We keep this simple, because we collect very little. This policy explains what Silas Fisher collects when you buy or request something from The Plain Household Manual, and why.
What we collect
- Your email address — when you buy the books or request the free sample, so we can deliver them and help with support.
- Order details — which product you bought, the amount, and a reference to your payment, kept as our record of the sale.
We do not collect or store your card number, CVC, or any full payment details. Those are handled entirely by Stripe.
Who processes your data
- Stripe — processes your payment securely. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never pass through our servers.
- Resend — sends your delivery and sample emails on our behalf.
- Neon & Vercel — host our database and website, storing your order record and the book files securely.
How we use it
We use your email to deliver what you asked for, to send the occasional note about new editions or methods, and to answer support questions. We never sell your information, and we don't share it except with the processors above who make the service work.
Marketing emails
If we email you about new editions or tips, every message includes an unsubscribe link. One click and we stop, no hard feelings.
Keeping your data safe
Downloads are protected by unique, order-specific links, and the book files themselves are stored privately rather than on public URLs. Payment security is handled to Stripe's bank-grade standard.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted at any time. Just email contact@silasfisherhomestead.com.
